U18 Season Ends

Worthing Thunder took the U18 Championship title by defeating Cheshire Junior Jets in the Final at Final Fours.

This was the first season for the new London United-Harefield Academy U18 team and proved to be a great success for the youngsters, most of whom were only U17s. The team finished in 5^th place narrowly missing out on a place in the Play Offs by only 2 points…the equivalent of just one match defeat.

The season was a credit to the new Harefield Basketball Academy, which, if its first season is anything to go by, is just going to go from strength to strength.
