This was a match which the London United Men should have won. It was so close. They led for most of the match and then they just threw it away in the dying seconds of the game.
WESTMINSTER WARRIORS 80 – 79 LONDON UNITED-HAREFIELD ACADEMY
It was always going to be a close fought match between local rivals London United and Westminster Warriors and so it proved to be. Both sides traded baskets throughout the match but London United led at the end of all three quarters.
With seconds to go and trailing by only 1 point, London United had possession and inbounded the ball but strong defence from the Westminster men ensured that the ball never managed to get up in the air before the whistle went.
Top scorers were Andy Harper on 27 points, Daniel Szatkowski on 19 points and Bode Adeluola on 17 points.
