London United-Harefield Academy has just finished a successful 3 weeks pre-season training programme. The schedule included 4-5 hours of training a day combined with 2 hours of classroom sessions. These 3 weeks allowed students not only physically prepare themselves for a gruelling season but also make themselves familiar with the academic requirements of their courses. There was of course the opening a new state of the art Hall of Residence which will host 6-7 new recruits of the Academy. The extensive training programme allowed new recruits like Andy Tamayo [194 cm], Matt De Hann [183 cm], Jonathan Swain[198 cm] and Paddy Bell [203 cm] to find their way in new surroundings and prepare themselves for something which without any doubts will be by far the most challenging season of their life.
